Not professional service. I went in to get a specific type of freshwater fish and spoke with a woman in that department who appeared to be in a managerial position. She tried to inform me that what they carried was indeed what I was looking for, and after a quick look I knew it was not. Sadly I am accustomed to franchise stores selling aquatic species and having sales reps in that department know very little about the hobby, but this woman went above and beyond. She actually mocked me while I stood there deliberating on purchasing some additional livestock. The way she conducted herself was extremely unprofessional and and makes the store look very bad. I'm new to the area and was looking for a good store to conduct my business, but it will not be this one after that experience.
Friendly staff that seemed very much into what they do. Nice variety of animals. Lots of water plants for aquariums.
Im very upset. Our ciclid tank was 30% filtered out. We put brand new water in it...well it turned cloudy so my boyfriend went here to see if they had anything to cure it. One of the associates recommend this bag that was supposed to filter out our water from it and all the bacteria to make the water clear again. Well it killed all of our ciclids! Mind you this bag (whatever it was) cost us $20 for out small 30 gallon tank and it made our tank 0 visibility. You couldn't see ANYTHING! It just made it worse! I'm coming in tomorrow to hopefully get our money back. I don't think the associate knew what she was talking about.....or our $50 worth of ciclids would still be alive.
Great store! Needs a better selection of products, but it's size makes that hard.
