We get take out blackened chicken tacos pretty much every weekend. We enjoy the hot sauce bar, and the chips are seasoned well. Prices are reasonable. Don't recommend the guacamole or salsa. We usually pick up some salsa at the Trader Joe's next door. Nice outdoor seating.
Our family loves this place! We’d never heard of Tijuana Flats until about nine months ago but spotted it while visiting another restaurant nearby, and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did!
Their Dos Tacos is delicious and a good value — two large tacos (crunchy or soft) and a side of chips and drink for about $9.50, and worth it. Their queso is good too, but doesn’t come with the meal.
I am new to the area and never heard of Tijuana Flats. But in honor of National Taco Day (10/4/17) and because they had a great special going on ($2/tacos), we decided to try it. It was great! A very large soft taco and an impressive sauce bar to dip the delicious (fresh and not too salty) chips in. Loved the outdoor seating and the service was perfect. I will be going again.
I have come here every Tuesday with my mother since 2013. We get the Taco Special every week which is very good. But now that they have changed the look of the place they lost seating space and it now looks like a Tex Mex Micdonalds. I hate it. They got rid of most of the cards from the thing on the table. In the girls bath room it says something with sexy in it which is totally inappropriate for the woman's restroom.
Their food is delicious and always fresh. I typically choose one of three different meals, and my family has tried several more, and they’ve all been great! The food here is nothing like that national taco chain, thank goodness.
They get very busy on Sundays, and sometimes seating can be a challenge, so it’s best to get there early. We visited two other Tijuana Flats in the area after coming here, but we’ve found this one is just better than the others, with a friendlier and more attentive staff, and a sauce bar which is consistent and fully stocked.
We love Tijuans!! Kids eat free night is off the chains!! Hands down best kids meal in town!! That's a big deal for us with three kids on a budget... ends up being lunch the next day. And customer service is on another level. I get the chicken flautas every time.. with plenty of Jason's moms hot sauce to go with it--killer. Thanks guys!!
The sauce bar offers about a dozen options with many different flavors and heat levels. The staff is friendly and attentive before, during and after the order. Orders are delivered to the table quickly, with a smile.
