Half of the employees are awesome and helpful, but the others are unhelpful and try to avoid assisting customers.
So I had a great experience as well as a bad experience with the customer service. A friend and I went in this Ulta to check out the foundations and generally just look around. Asked one employee about foundations for olive undertones and she helped a tremendous amount, suggested I look at the Pur line of makeup and we had a genuine conversation. Everything felt very natural, and whenever I was ready to move on she got the cue, I thanked her and went on my way. I think she had glasses, she was very nice and I actually felt quite keen on checking out her recommendations.
What I'm getting at is, tell your employees to not be pushy. Learn to take cues from customers and focus more on connecting with the customer and leaving them alone if they do not seem receptive. I will most likely not come back to this location.
Best salon in North Carolina! Amazing staff! Five star treatment! Feel spoiled when visiting the salon and get the most amazing facials! It's top notch spa treatment at amazing price! Latisha is absolutely amazing with my hair!! I came in from a bad cut;( she helped me growing it out with care! I didn't have to chop off my hair to fix a mistake. My hair is healthy and strong again. She is a talent! Victoria is a amazing aesthetician! I am reaching my late 30s and miss that youthful skin in my 20s and early 30s..I felt open to talk with her about my issues with my skin...she was honest and helped me, the last two facials were suggested for my skin type, can I say seriously I feel I look 10 years younger!! I plan to take a before and after...she is a educated and extremely real, honest and intellectual person who will help repair your skin not just band aid the problem!!! Kudos to this ultra..definitely not your normal makeup store it's high quality and a reasonable price!
My wife can't stop talking about the salon. Rachelle, the salon manager, did a great job on her hair. She said it was a very comfortable and fun experience. When I walked in to pick her up the staff was polite and professional and they did a great job with hair and make up for what I believe was prom that day.
Ended up at the Lancome section to check out the foundations. Was checking out one shade that I really liked when another employee (older woman) approached me and asked me if I needed help. At that point, I was good, I was just looking and was forming my own opinion. Despite me saying I was just looking, she became increasingly pushy. Started to go through every type of foundation Lancome offered, kept asking me a bunch of questions, started to move onto if I've tried the skincare at Ulta and kept going even after I said I already have my own skincare routine and again, was just looking. I knew she knew I wasn't being receptive because she even said "You know, I'm just here to help you". I ended up leaving and I didn't even get the time I wanted with that foundation because I wanted to avoid further conversation. I am by no means antisocial, however I get extremely uncomfortable in situations like this where you feel almost suffocated/trapped by the sales person.
Every single time I come in this store they are “SOLD OUT” of the free gift included with purchase. Like, if you’re out, TAKE THE SIGNS DOWN. Constant disappointment from here, bought an ABH Brow Gel and it’s the raggedy old wand applicator with only one fluffy side. It’s no big deal ima just return it but still, stop causing people disappointment. Only ruins what’s supposed to be a nice experience.
