Local Trek dealer. Been in here a couple times to make a few small purchases and to have spokes tightened on a wheel. Almost bought a Trek road bike, but it was year end sale and none of my size were left. The staff have always been friendly and courteous to me. They are pretty knowledgeable of the products all though I did all my research on Trek's website beforehand. Never tried to take advantage of my wallet as others have mentioned in reviews. Wouldn't hesitate to have them order me a bike. I'm sure I'll be back again for tubes and other common items since it's convenient for me. They do also have good group rides that leave from the shop.

Walking into the store I was greeted by a friendly sales associate who immediately answered my questions and directed me to the style of bike I was looking at. To my luck Cycle Spoken Here was the only Trek Authorized dealer in the Raleigh/Cary area that had the model I wanted in my size left on the showroom floor. I then spoke to the bike tech on hand and asked a good number of moderate to detailed questions about the bike. I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable so I know ahead of time what I would be asking. He answered my questions, some detailed and others not so much, but overall gave me a good sense of what I was looking at. After a good test ride I decided to purchase the bike and preceded to wait 20-25 minutes as the tires were converted to tubeless. Finally I was on my merry way.

Aaron took the time to size me up on a bike fully knowing I wasn't buying a bike that day. He answered every question I had, and overall it was a very positive experience. I will be returning. Thanks again Aaron.

These issues could have resulted in serious damage to the bike and to myself and I am upset that this is even an issue considering the price I payed for the bike. A thorough pre-sale check should have been completed before I walked out of the store with the bike but it seems to have been forgotten in way of the tubeless tire conversion. Still, I gave them three stars considering they were more than friendly and went out of their way to answer any and all questions I had to make the buying experience as pleasurable as possible.

Fast forward a couple weeks later and a handful of rides and I began to notice a decent amount of slop in my rear suspension. It began to worry me as it progressed from simply feeling it when I picked the bike up to hearing it while I rode over rough terrain. A co-worker of mine is the head bike tech at the store I work at so he volunteered to take a look at what might be causing the problem. As he began looking at the rear suspension, while I stood watching over, he found all four real suspension linkage bolts extremely loose. Each bolt took multiple turns of the torque wrench just to reach a point that gave some resistance let alone actually turning them to the recommended torque. Based on his findings the tech decided to look over the entire bike where he then found an under torqued crank and crank arms.

They are nice friendly people and have good advice, but be careful, some of the younger and newer employees might try to take advantage of your wallet.

Had a great experience. They helped figure out the best bike for my usage. Without reservations taught me some maintenance and service. Offered free classes and group rides. Always friendly, knowledgeable, and take the time to talk and answer questions. Good vibe, good people, and a great place. They also service your bikes brakes and shifters for the life of the bike. Wow! Very pleased and I keep coming back just to peruse or gab with a worker to learn new things.
