Amazing experience with the team at All Star Bike Shop in Cary. Extremely knowledgeable and professional team takes the time and great care in pairing their customers with the right bicycle and equipment. In addition, they provided me with important insight into best practices and safety precautions which I feel should be mandatory for all beginners to this sport. Highly recommend this store and thank them for all of the time they spent introducing me to this new world of bicycling.
I gotta admit, doing a few demos, the owner is sooo serious seeming he sorta scared me at first, haha. But the staff was fantastic so I kept coming back. They knew their wares, helped me figure out what bike I wanted, worked as a team, and never once pressured me on anything. When I did decide on a bike, I saw the owner dotting i's and crossing t's in the background to make sure the entire team learned the process and didn't miss a thing. In the end, I met the owner, shook hands and.. I like him! You can tell a lot about an owner by the staff they keep. Also, a woman helped me with the financing (forgot her name) but she explained all the details in a friendly and personal way. Adam initially helped me learn and demo some bikes and had such a good vibe. Next time I had another guy who was similar (sorry I forgot your name, dude!) and he was cool, too. Last time, Mike showed me some more new bikes, gave me key advice, and each piece worked out as he said it would. Very Happy! The staff takes the time to talk to you, doesn't pressure you into buying anything, follows your queue, listens, and delivers on advice. I recommend!
The best bike shop around, knowledgeable and very helpful. It's nice to have a relationship with people that care about what they are selling and don't try to upsell you, highly recommend.
