I thought what a great store. I ask them to hold two dog blankets for me. Sure the manager said, put my name on them. Went back to get them and they sold them to someone else. No dog blankets for my two rescue dogs this year, because they sold out of them.
We are new kitten pet parents. We went in last night and needless to say we were overwhelmed by what to feed our new kittens. Kevin was amazing! He helped go through each brand and told us about the ingredients. He helped us pick out the right food in our price point. He was very knowledgeable about each ingredient and how healthy it was for our little kittens. We hope to see him often as we go get more things.
First if I could give Petsmart zero stars I would but I had to so I could post this. If you want absolute horrible care and a staff that has no idea what the heck they are doing then this is the place for you. I recently lost my dog and she could've been helped and who knows how long she was in pain. We brought her in because she was limping, they said she just had arthritis. So we went home. fast forward a few months we took her back again because she was limping worse and she developed a lump on top of her paw. They took X-rays and again said it was arthritis and we asked them about the lump and they proceeded to ask what lump? If you took one look at her it was so big you could see it plain as day, so they sent us home again with no answers, oh well excuse me they said it was arthritis. Fast forward a couple weeks we ended up having to take my dog to an emergency animal hospital because she was having trouble breathing, couldn't get up and one of her eyes was closed shut.Petsmarts wouldn't see her when I called because they said "I need an appointment" so i went by got her X-rays from them and went to the Emergency hospital. The Animal hospital took one look at the X-rays they took and said that she had cancer all over her body! Two days later we had to put her down so she wouldn't be in pain anymore and because she was going down hill fast! Fast forward to last month Petsmart just sent us a "We are sorry for your lose" card. Are you kidding me! 2 months later you send a card!!!! Fast forward to today, we brought our other dog here for the last time even though we dreaded it but we had to because the appointment was already paid for. We took here her and to cut the story short THEY DID NOTHING THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO!!! Shocker. They didn't give her one of her vaccines they didn't give her medicine that she needed and didn't even look at what they were supposed to look at which was the whole reason we brought her there. When anyone drops there animal off there do they just put them in a cage and when you come pick them up say yep they are good to go?? Then when we were checking out they called her our other dogs name! Honestly do they know what they are doing? Cause I don't think so! So anyone reading this, if you want a "vet" that doesn't give vaccines your animals needs, gets the Gender of your animal wrong every time, misdiagnosis, gets your pet mixed up with another one, send you away without answers, not let you talk to the doctor and so many more things like that then this is the place for you. i have some friends that have had some of the same experiences I've had as well.
On November 10, 2017 I took my dog in at 11:30 to get groomed. 2, 3, 4 o'clock came around and I started to get worried because no one had called and it usually doesn't take that long. We drove over to see what was taking so long and at the mention of our dog's name the lady goes "oh." The lady who groomed her was no longer on shift. The lady who is present says that there must have been a communication issue and reads back my cell number that is on file and I confirm that is correct. My phone never rang. Even if it had and I missed the call I would expect for them to keep calling back until it went through. It is irresponsible of PetSmart to allow my dog to sit in their crate for hours (all day). We will never do business here again.
Karlenea is the best at grooming. She is great with all 3 of my fur babies.
