Nice place to use as a pit stop coming from Cary/Apex to Umstead/ Crabtree. Relatively clean bathrooms and a refrigerated water fountain.
Great place to get outdoors, take your kids to the playground, climb, play basketball or volleyball, or just simply walk on the Green way. Beautiful park
North Cary park is neat and clean and spacious and it has got everything that makes it a good park. It has got green trails, multiple basketball and volleyball courts, a soccer field, lot of swings for children to play with, provision for rock climbing and many other attractions. Entire ambiance throughout from the entrance is awesome. Complex is full of greenery and plantation all around is very nice not to leave the place for long. In case of rain or otherwise, it has got a shelter, neat and clean restrooms for both men and women and provision for drinking water. Parking is not an issue here as ample space is meant for it. Both sides on the trails, are all tall trees. Soccer field is spacious and full of greenery. Private functions can be arranged here for which request can be made online. Overall good experience and would recommend to hang out with family and friends.
A family park in the middle of triangle.
Down side-- we saw a "copperhead" while we were there and animal control came out and tossed it into the woods a couple of feet away from the kiddie play place because that's their habitat.
Rocks to climb... Nice walking trail... Bike riding availability... Volleyball nets with sand and all... & a basketball court
Plenty of reaction opportunities. Great for cook outs.
