I have never had a bad experience here. Everyone caters to you and if one person can't find it they'll ask somebody else to help. Support your local hardware stores
If you need something small, or are looking for a specialty item they are the way to go imo. If you are doing a large project, you will probably end up paying double what you would if you went to big box stores.
Small local business. prices are a little higher than big box. Some items actually very high, but it's a small shop and they have lots of stuff the big box stores don't. Staff is always helpful. They have the best bolt/screw/hardware section in town.
Ok little local hardware store that has most of the things home depot or lowes has. The only downside is you really pay for the convenience. Prices for most items are much higher than the big box stores.
Needed help on lawn seeds. I was told someone would be helping me in a second. Waited more than 15 min. No one came. I picked up whatever available, and cashier made mistakes twice to check me out charging twice the price, did not know how to code coupons in. No apology was offered. I probably spent more than 45 min just to buy a bag of seeds. Not a good customer service at all.
Every time I go this hardware store rimnds me each time why I rarely ever waste my time going to Home Depot and Lowes. Because the prices here are excellent and the service is your old school customer service. The staff would walk you all around the store to find the exact item your looking for after being nicely greeted as soon as I step foot in the doorway.
I would absolutely recommend anyone needing tools, items for the home etc.
