Gas stove was delivered and was not installed as we had requested at the store. They stated we didn't pay for it though we requested it. We tried to pay for it when they were there, but that wasn't an option. I had to pay someone to hook up. Stove doesn't work correctly. They came to pick it up (i had to call a second time to find out the day) and they wouldn't take it because it wasn't disconnected. No one said a thing about it needing to be disconnected. I called the store and they stated they would call me back. No one called for 3 days so I went to the store. They scheduled another pick up but i have to disconnect the gas stove and wait around for another pick up.
Paint department woman is fantastic. She's knowledgeable & helpful. She gets the 5 star rating. She's gone out of her way to help several days in a row.
Appliance Delivery Problems
Service is really slow... The associated walking the floor have no clue what they are selling. Most of them are geriatrics who don't seem to care one way or another. Their store manager is unhelpful and rude. In order to get anything done you have to wait approximately a month for any kind of response and usually you have to go back multiple times. Don't shop here! It's awful. Just go to Lowe's at least their reps are better trained and helpful.
Dishwasher delivery problems. I ordered a dishwasher in the fifth of November and had it delivered on the ninth. The delivery crew said they couldn't install it because of a burnt wire and left. I replaced the wire and scheduled a follow up delivery. The day of the delivery I called to verify the time window since I hadn't received a confirmation the day before liked I had been told. The delivery company then told me they had no record of the new schedule. I tried to reschedule again, but the only delivery date available was on a weekday and I can't get out of work that short notice. Then, because we had gotten to the end of the 30 day window established by the manufacturer, I had to return the item and order a new one with a two week wait for delivery. That day comes and, within 30 seconds of going in my kitchen, the delivery crew says they can't remove the old one because our linoleum flooring doesn't go under the dishwasher and can't install the new one due to a clearance issue. It is unclear why the first crew couldn't have told me this so I could have worked something out then. I call to figure out what to do about this and am told I need to drive to the store to come up with a delivery option. The store staff have been the only good part of this experience, and we set up a plan for a different installer to contact me that Monday to schedule my now fourth installation. It is Thursday morning and no word. I called the store and an associate said he put a note on the account and someone should call this morning. We will see. 46 days and counting...
