Tina was able to sell my townhouse in no time, when 3 other agents were unable to even get a steady flow of viewings. Obviously best decision I ever made was calling Tina.
…I gave these people my family's pool table because I knew it really made that room and I wanted to be able to help them start their new home. ... Then yesterday, as we were disconnecting the washing machine, we found out that the valve was broken and the supply wouldn't shut off. .. but I spent $200 getting a plumber out there because it was the right thing to do. I took time to prepare a box with all manuals and receipts that I came across that were related to things in the house. I wrote them a note letting them know things like the locks are premium and they can re-key them themselves instead of buying new ones, that the deck is reinforced for a hot tub and the electrical just needs to be pulled through the wall if they ever decide to put one in, and what the garage code is. I made sure to leave paint, spare tile, spare molding, and other building supplies so that, in the event something gets damaged, they have a match and can repair it easily. I offered to mow the lawn over the weekend because I really didn't like leaving it in that condition, but apparently you had stressed them out so much as to not want to confront me or whatever, so instead you stole my money. …
The Caul Real Estate team is amazing. I have worked with them for over a year now. They are very patient and professional in helping you find a home. Thank you guys so much.
Tina and her team are amazing!! I was referred to Tina by a friend who highly recommended her.
… I believe you were aggressive and inconsiderate of anything outside your personal interests, and you seemed to purposefully incite stress in not only me, but also in your client. I believe you neglected to properly prepare your client for the possibility that things might not go smoothly so … and as such placed the burden and stress of delaying and rescheduling my closing and moving date on me with no concern with what that might mean to me and my family.
For the original 08/04 closing date, I had (people) to help move and clean over the weekend... Instead, I had to ask 3 people take off of work, costing them money... We were there until after midnight scrubbing the house, so while something may have gotten missed I can't imagine a cleaning company needing to be hired. … Had we closed when we were supposed to weeks ago the lawn wouldn't have been an issue. But as it was I sold my lawn tractor ... Had we closed on time I would have had a weekend to clean and get stuff ready rather than trying to get it done in a day in the middle of the week. … My bad on the wood... I thought the new owners would enjoy the fire pit in the backyard, so I left it for them to enjoy one of my favorite features of the backyard. … If you set the expectation with them, and it appears you did, that everything was going to be roses and the house was going to be sparkling clean when there was no request at any time for me to have it professionally cleaned, and the lawn was going to be pristine even though you delayed closing by over 2 weeks and I had out of town obligations and a lack of a lawn tractor that prevented me from the upkeep I normally performed on the lawn, then you misled your client and that is on you.
I was on the other end of a real estate deal with this company, and I wanted to share my experience with them. I wrote them an e-mail after closing airing my frustrations. Google doesn't allow enough room for me to paste the whole thing, so I have trimmed it down below. But the basic theme is that I believe the company sets unrealistic expectations for their clients, and then I believe when they get backed in to a corner, they bully the other party so they can look good in their client's eyes, no matter what that means for other people. I believe this company convinced their client to steal money from me at the 11th hour, knowing that I was stuck and would not be able to do anything about it without risking blowing 2 transactions. I suppose if you don't care about others, and you want a company who will stomp on others to make sure you're happy, then I guess maybe this company is for you. But, that's not how I would want to do business, so I wanted to share this.
Tina then helped my husband and I buy our dream home. I continue to tell everyone I know about Tina!
