When I got to the counter, even though I said I wanted to mail it THIRD class three times, he kept repeating FIRST class back and that's what he charged me for. It was all still cheaper than his $6.80 envelope.
Never busy is why I have gone here a few times in the past, but I will never go again. On Tuesday, March 29 I went in, picked up a large envelope for $2.50, to mail something and the Indian looking older man shot out from behind the counter telling me, "no, no, no, use this one.". I asked why, he said it was insured, I said I didn't care and I didn't want to pay $6.80 for an envelope. He finally left me alone to address the envelope I picked up.
Only use this post office if you must, and only if you know exactly what you want and how much it cost. This guy is out to make a buck and if you want to honestly know the best way to mail something cheapest go to a regular post office.
Despite other reviews, my experience was pleasant. Very convenient to have a post office that operates outside regular hours.
This is a satellite office within a convenience store. The clerk is not familiar with postal service beyond stamps.
